Thorough & Thoughtful Dentistry

Rather than focusing solely on individual teeth, we strive to create smiles that function flawlessly, look beautiful, last long-term, and support overall health. Patients are walked through the "why" behind every recommendation. We then use the latest technology to deliver precise and predictable treatment.
Beyond the teeth, attention is given to how the bite comes together, how it influences the TMJ (jaw joint), and how it may contribute to face and head pain, sleep breathing issues, and more. Here at Archway Dental, our goal is for every patient to leave with a clear understanding of their oral health and how it connects to the rest of their body. Questions are always encouraged, and when something needs attention, we explain it in plain language, supported by images and free of confusing jargon.
Leading Dental Expertise

Dr. Parmar has a much more comprehensive approach to dentistry thanks to a level of training and education that most providers can’t match. In addition to having two dental degrees (a BDS from India and a DDS from the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry), she is also one of the very few Pankey Institute-trained dentists in the McKinney area. The Pankey Institute is the leader in post-graduate education for dentists that focuses on the ways the bite may contribute to chronic pain as well as the oral systemic connection (how the mouth influences the body and vice versa).
In addition to her 20+ years of experience, Dr. Parmar has also completed advanced training focused on laser dentistry, Invisalign, and dental implants. Her elite surgical education through Versah International is why many of her patients report feeling almost no pain the following day, even after undergoing a complex procedure.
Function is Our Focus

Our approach is sometimes referred to as physiologic dentistry or neuromuscular dentistry, which focuses on treating headaches and facial pain stemming from misaligned bites. When the jaw muscles rest in an unnatural position, persistent and even severe discomfort often follows. Beyond basic jaw alignment, our team carefully evaluates muscle dynamics, overall posture, airway health, tongue placement, and more. By harmonizing these vital components, we can restore your ideal physical balance, ensuring everything functions smoothly and stays pain free.
Honest, Co-Diagnostic Approach

We will work with you to find the perfect treatment and empower you to make care decisions that always feel right. Using intraoral cameras and 3D scans, we’ll show you exactly what we see and explain your situation and treatment options in clear terms. We’ll also go over how getting a treatment (or not) will affect your oral and overall health in the short and long term, giving you a complete picture of what to expect. Together, we’ll determine the approach that best meets your needs.
